Finch & Company are uniquely placed adjacent to the John Innes conservation areas. Beautiful Edwardian and Victorian houses, together with substantial 1920s and 1930s properties grace both sides of the tree lined avenues. With parks and green spaces nestled between houses, the area feels rural despite its proximity to London.
The Finch office are enthusiastic, excited and exuberant – the team is led by manager Katharine Connolly and they all speak with great affection for the area, especially Beryl who has been with the company for over 20 years. Her local knowledge is invaluable thanks to her super memory. Merton Park / Wimbledon is ideally placed for families, with excellent schools and activities in nearby Wimbledon, there are also efficient road, rail and tram links into and out of London. If you would like your property valued by us, please give Katharine a call on 020 8542 1193.
Finch & Company has been associated with the Old Rutlishians for three years through sponsorship of the club. This local Sports and Social club encompasses rugby, cricket, football and squash – there’s something for every sporting fan and every age, with teams for children and adults.
The club offers open membership for only £30 per year, so you don’t have to be an active sporting member to enjoy the benefits that the club has to offer – subsidised bar, regular events such as cheese and wine evenings, quiz nights as well as being hired out for ballroom dancing practice, martial arts and Zumba classes amongst other interests. In addition, the club has music festivals during the year – in the summer as well as Halloween and Fireworks evenings.
The club provides a local venue for residents of the much sought after Merton Park / Wimbledon conservation areas. More details can be found on the club’s website www.theora.co.uk or call Mike Stallard on 07989 987078.
